Turnover day, hour by hour

Checkout at eleven, check-in at three. Four hours to reset a home completely. This is where those four hours go.
The gap between one guest leaving and the next arriving is the whole operation compressed into an afternoon. Miss it and the next guest waits in a corridor with their luggage.
11:00 Checkout
Keys back, a walk-through with the photographs from the previous turnover open on a phone. Differences get logged before anything is touched.
11:30 Strip and assess
Linen out first, because it is the long pole: everything else can be done around a wash that has already started.
- Linen out and in the machine
- Kitchen and bathrooms
- Floors last, once nothing else will undo them
14:00 Reset and photograph
The flat goes back to its known state, and the photographs are taken. Those photographs are what the next turnover is measured against.
15:00 Check-in
The guest arrives to a home, not to a handover.
